The city centre of Lausanne boasts plenty of cafés with live music or clubs for the dancing-inclined. The area Le Flon, in what was once a green valley and then a tanners’ district with a bad reputation, is now one of Lausanne‘s centres and filled with cinemas, bars, and restaurants. On any weekend night the streets of the neighbourhood are brightly lit and crowded with young people.
On the shores of Lake Léman sit in any of the cafés and enjoy a coffee and a view of the gorgeous mountains across the water.
